Chris Duffin to attempt Guinness World record for Heaviest Sumo Deadlift in One Minute

On March 15th Chris Duffin will be making an attempt at the heaviest weight sumo deadlifted in one minute.  The attempt will be made at Elite Performance Center in Portland Oregon.  The current record is held by Walter Urban of Canada which was set in September of 2012. 

This record attempt is being coordinated to celebrate the opening of Elite Performance Center’s new location.  Chris is a champion power lifter and Co-Owner of Elite Performance Center.   The event will be open to the public and the media and will also coincide with a “Bros V Pros” deadlift competition that will be hosted at Elite Performance Center that day.
