Kaizen

Kaizen is Japanese word that is used extensively in the business world and is often synonymous with Continuous Improvement in English. However the word is much more of a philosophy than anything else, and while Kabuki Strength is a business the philosophy is more a way of life. Kaizen is about recognizing that you will never achieve perfection but that you must continuously be making steps every single day in the path towards your ‘North Star’. Its about never accepting the status quo and always and with every move you make be working towards achieving perfection or your vision.

This Kaizen philosophy is one word that embodies the ‘Vision, Consistency, and Hardwork’ speeches that Kabuki Strengths founder Chris Duffin often gives. To have a ‘North Star’ to be working towards you must establish clarity of vision for what you wish to achieve. Clarity of vision is paramount in making sure your working the right path. To make sure you can easily recognize and not get distracted by other paths, shiny objects (exciting ideas in the moment), and can differentiate between ‘tasks’ and steps towards the vision.

Once the vision or ‘North Star’ have been establish it now comes to the consistent daily grind of never accepting mediocrity and the status quo. It is easy to fall into a rhythm or accept things as good enough. But this is not the Kaizen life. You must not accept the mediocrity or the comfort of accepting things as they stand. The Kaizen philosophy embodies Kabuki Strengths core values of not accepting the mediocrity of the masses that many live in. Not accepting or seeking comfort but instead a life of always challenging yourself and those around to be better. To walk the path of pushing yourself daily with every move you make to be a better version of yourself, a path towards your vision of perfection.

This Kaizen philosophy is a core value of Kabuki Strength team and we hope you can join us in living this philosophy.
